Training on Vemicomposting and Jackfruit Processing

The Training programme on Vermicposting, value addition in jackfruit was organized at KVK Campus on 16th and 17th June 2017 in association with society of St. Vincent de Paul, Margao-Goa .23 representatives from different villages of the society attended the training. Awareness was created for composting and to make maximum use of jackfruit for income generation in villages as lots of fruits gets wasted due to lack of knowledge .Different value added products which can be easily made and sold were demonstrated which includes chips, pickles, halwa, jam,papad etc. . Trainees were also motivated to spread their knowledge to the weather section in their respective areas to help them to generate additional income.
