Description :

Deep and compressed body. Most of dorsal fin black and caudal fin with black vertical bands. A characteristic thick black band is running across the eye starting from dorsal to ventral. Caudal peducle and caudal fin yellow with the posterior half of the fin with a thick black band starting from top to bottom. The edges of the caudal fin is yellow in colour.
